The cross roller slewing ring is an efficient cylindrical roller slewing ring. They are characterized by the horizontal arrangement of cylindrical rollers, which roll at right angles in the raceway. The X arrangement of cylindrical rollers ensures a compact design. In addition, the slewing ring can bear high axial load in two directions - with radial load and high inclination moment. By combining the loads in the cross roller slewing ring, traditional solutions with radial and axial slewing rings can usually be reduced to a single slewing ring position.
